I was excited about being the wedding photographer for Kristin and Chris’s wedding at Barclay Villa in Angier, NC. Itsa great wedding venue to have a castle wedding. Whether you are wanting an outside ceremony or inside, Barclay Villa can accommodate both. The staff runs a tight shift with being very good at keeping things running smoothly and in a timely manner. Kristin and Chris’s wedding was to take place outside unfortunately the weather did not hold up for that and the sky fell out. It really didn’t surprise Kristin and I b/c it did the same thing for their engagement portrait session. The funniest moment to me was, as the wedding ceremony begin the flower girls and ring bearer were coming out to walk down the isle. I am thinking the ring bearer got cold feet and immediately grabbed the woman’s leg who was helping them out, she quietly tried to get him to go but that just made him not want to do it more, with a few yells, she gave up. It made for some good laughter. I had a great time photographing this wedding. I was also happy to be working with some of my friends Adam Owens and Michael Charbonneau with Archive Productions, who did the videography for this wedding. Its nice to work with people you know who can help you out if you need a light tested, thank you Adam. The wonderful wedding cake was done by Ashley Cakes.
