The Sutherland in Wake Forest, NC is a great wedding venue to hold an outdoor wedding. This was my first time photographing the venue, and fell in love at first sight. This wedding really touched my heart because Kimberli’s grandfather several days before the wedding was admitted to the hospital. Thankfully they were able to set up skype so he could watch the whole wedding via computer. I must say I shed a few tears during some private moments with grandpa. The wedding pictures turned out great in my opinion. The reception was a blast with DJ Marcus, with Morse entertainment rocking the house. I think I caught Marcus a few times dancing to his own wedding songs. I love it when a wedding DJ doesnt just stand there and actually feels the groove everyone else is feeling.
